"Happy Thanksgiving" & "Happy Anniversary"

Today was such an amazing Thanksgiving. Probably one of the best I have had in awhile. Today was even my 4 year wedding anniversary.. That's probably what made it even better.. We went to Ruslan's family thanksgiving at there church at 1 and had a small church service and then we had lunch. I made Crock Pot Mac-n-cheese because its so delicious and they always ask for it.. And I made a yummy cake that i got from my soon to be brother-n-law's grandmother.. It tasted very good, but it didn't look to pretty which made me upset. I just have to practice it I guess.. After that we headed over to my parents house to enjoy some family time with them. We sat out by the fire and just relaxed and roasted marsh mellows and hot dogs.. We also decided to get all there Christmas decorations out and start decorating there house. My mom's shoulder is hurting her so it helped her by us helping her set up the trees. I also enjoyed it myself as well. It brought back many memories.. And I got to include my son in that. : )  Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!! I Can't wait till Saturday to go to Charleston for the Festival of Lights. We have gone every year since roman has been born and this year my parents are going with us. Oh, and Ruslan is going hunting for his first time tomorrow morning with my dad and his friend.. They are going in the boat and doing bird shooting.. Kinda nervous with him using the gun..lol..jk.. Good father-n-law and son-n-law bonding time..

Beginning to look alot like Christmas!!

So it has been awhile since I have blogged. I still have to get used to the whole idea about writing stuff. So recently we put our Christmas tree up and I love how it turned out. It is so girlie, but thats okay. : )

My mother-in-law helped me make the bow on top of the tree.. It turned out Super cute and I Love it!! Next item I made was our Christmas wreath. I started using my old ornaments from last year and i used all of them and it wasn't enought. So I decided to run to walmart and see if I could just get the same ornaments i had already put on there.. Turns out they dont have anything near that color I was using. So I saw a big container of ornaments that where super cute and bought those and a few small ones just in case it wasnt enough. And the colors almost matched my Christmas Tree as well. I then had to take all those other ornaments off since I couldnt use those colors except the silver ones. It didn't take long to make the wreath along with roman's help. He is such a big helper.. Love him so much.

I have also had to make a few yarn wreaths for my dad for Christmas gifts for his clients. But I still havn't finished all of them but when i do i will post them. It is going to be a busy few weeks for us. We are taking Roman to the Festival of lights this weekend and my parents are going with us. I'am super excited about going this year with Roman. This will be his 3rd time going. We are going to make it a family tradition for us to go every year. I went when I was little and I still remember always going and loved the memories. I hope roman has some good memories as well. Can't wait to post pictures from this weekend.

Fall Crafts

So after joining Pinterest I have been on the crafty side lately.. And I love it!! So far I have started a blanket for roman(have a lot more to finish), made a yarn wreath, and decorated a pumpkin. They have so many inspirations out there.. I love that site.

Everything you need to make a yarn wreath.

You hot glue the end of the yarn down and start wrapping around. Longest step.

You cut out felt flowers. There are many different ways to make them.

I plan on making these for every season and for Christmas gifts as well.

So I bought this Spray Paint at Michael's and LOVE it.. It turned out so pretty!! This wasn't the lace I wanted but it turned out cute anyway. And i made a few flowers made out of felt for the top.. : )

Today was such a fun day. We headed to Poppell Farms with my parents. Roman had such a great time and didn't want to leave. I can't wait to go back next year. Hope you enjoy all the pictures!! : )

*Oh and roman came home tonight and went poo poo in the big potty!! Me and Ruslan where so sad watching him.. He's becoming such a Big Boy now.. Not a little baby anymore who needs his diapers changed..

"No more Paci"

So this is very Big news for our family... NO more "Butt" as Roman calls his paci. I have no idea where he got that word from. Last Friday I decided it was time that we took away the paci cold turkey. He hasn't been wanting it that much lately so it was the perfect opportunity. I laid him down for bed Friday night and he didn't even cry or ask for it. Saturday he cried just for a few minutes during his nap and that was it. That night when I put him down to sleep he looked at me and said "butt" when those sweet blue eyes.. I've been telling him that his paci is for babies and that he is a big boy now. And that his paci went bye bye in the garbage.. But he hasn't cried for his paci though or asked for it since. I can't believe its been 4 days and he still hasn't had it. I feel bad sometimes when he is fussy because he still hasn't cut his 2 bottom incisors or 2 year old molars. The paci was good when he was teething because he would chew on. Now he doesn't have anything to chew on when his teeth hurt. And it's kinda bittersweet since he has had a paci since he was born. : ( Just means he is growing up on me.

"Pure Happiness"

I follow my friend Brandie's blog, beautiful, Endless Sky, and she mentioned that everyone should post a happy list. I have SO much to be happy about these days.





                   Ten things making me happy this week!!!!!
1.) My amazing son, Roman Rybin. He is changing every day. And I love him MORE and MORE as life goes on.
2.) This amazing weather that October has brought us.
3.) My new job. I couldn't be more happy with what I do now. And more time with Roman.
4.) Roman's new swing set that my dad and ruslan has built for him.(will blog about this when they are finished with it.)
5.) Everytime we go somewhere roman says bye to everyone and blows them kisses. He has such a sweet soul.
6.) The random phone calls I get from my family.
7.) Nice cold glass of sweet tea.
8.) Clean clothes.
9.) The kisses I get from roman.
10.) Christmas decorations being set up at my job.

-I hope anyone else who blogs will post a happiness blog. Its nice to think about everything that makes you happy!! : )
